| The US Marines were used whatever they could to get around the battlefield with. In most cases it was mule drawn wagons and the occasional horse. The logistics of horse and wagons was by far easier than trucks and cars. Running trains with "40 or 8s" were abundant. These pictures are from my grandfathers personal collection. |
